De-Mineralizing Plants

De-Mineralizing Plants

This typical process involves the removal of Cations (eg. calcium, magnesium, potassium, ion and other heavy metals) by a bed Strong Acid Cation (SAC) ion exchange resin followed by a second bed of Strong Base Anion (SBA) resin for the removal of all anions (eg. Bicarbonate Alkalinity, Chloride, Sulphate, Nitrate, Silica and CO2) second bed of Weak Base Anion (WBA) resin for removal of Strong Acid Anions (eg. Chloride, Sulphate and Nitrate).

The De-Mineralisation process is also known as De-Ionization. It is an economical option when feed water TDS is low and low conductivity product water is required.

Description: Two-bed industrial mineralizing plants are basically design to produce high quality de-mineralised water for users up to 10,000 LPH. The basic exchangers of cation and anion resins will absorb the respective ions of solids to produce De-mineralised water. Commercial grade Hcl and NaoH flakes are used for the regeneration of cation and anion resins respectively.

Schedule of Materials: Mild steel rubber lined pressure vessels comleate with internal distribution & collection system, frontal pipe work with diapharm valves & ejectors, and FRP vessels with semi automatic multi-port valve PVC pipe fittings. One charge of ion exchange resines. Re-generation tanks 2 numbers. Conductivity indicator 1 number.

Applications: Battery industries, Pharmaceutical, Plastic and Chemical, Special application Mirror silvering, Electro plating & machinery coolant water.
